CALL ME OR MESSAGE ME FOR ADDRESS

604-779-8660

Okay, I started this XANGA for ONE reason... to track Supper Club.

Origins of Supper Club:

Karen and I were chatting one day about how much we love to host get-togethers, how expensive going out is, and how nice it would be to not have to spend so much money on that.  I love cooking, and Karen likes putting DVD's in DVD players (thus our roles for dinner/movie night were born!). We wanted to make a night where people can come and have a nice meal with friends and the host can experiment making a meal that they usually wouldn't make just for themselves.

How it works:

Host will buy all the groceries in bulk (That's why it's important to RSVP so we get the right amount of food) and will determine the cost of the food for all who attend.  We want to cap the cost at $10 since the goal of this night is to SAVE money.  $10 seems reasonable especially since we are going to be trying some VERY nice dishes and hope to have enough available for leftovers for guests to take home.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own Wine/Beer if they want to drink, maybe in the future we will start drink menu's also, but this will increase price.  It's all in a test phase right now, but after all... it's all just for fun. Guests are also going to be encouraged to show up early and help with the cooking. Cooking will usually start around 6 o'clock which makes dinnertime around 7.  That gives us enough time to start the movie at 8 o'clock.  These times allow everyone enough time to get to the host's house by 6-7 and we'll finish early enough for people that work in the mornings. There is no charge for the movie since we'll rarely rent and people can bring their own DVD's.  People are welcome to come just to the movie if they want, but they still have to RSVP.

Any Questions, call myself or Karen.
